Go ahead and check my IP addy... Here it is.. I have nothing to hide.. too many people know who I am... 98.212.144.62

For the record:

I have never said anything negetive about IMSM. Phil and I have talked at great length about my personal views and opinions about this whole mess. The NSCB has turned into the Nitrous Street Car Circus, in my views. With this many classes running trying to run on the same day, something is bound to happen. The only way I see the day to run smoothly is that every orginization have low turnouts. That is NOT what everyone needs. With 10 classes expected to race in the "pro" session, time is going to be the killer.

My problems lie with GLD and their assumption that MORE IS BETTER.

Late model vettes have big brakes and can'nt run wheels smaller than 16" so tires must be 16" or larger also (16-17-18-19) most tire companies offer a very limited selection of racing tires in those wheel sizes.

I run Hoosier Slicks 16 X 28 X 10 which is a true 10" wide tire but may not qualify for your new class. My tires are usually allowed in the "true 10 wide" classes. Mickey thompson quit making the ET Street in a 10 wide 28" tall tire X 16 about 2 years ago (When they merged).

Hopefully the new class will accomodate the "Vette" tire sizes so we "Vette Guys" can compete if we choose.

Basically JR, as long as its a true 10" tire. You are in. Those are just "Suggested" tire sizes.
