At the end of last year the dyno biz was booming so I was late pulling the motor. Once I got it to PER racing engines it took 8 weeks to get the custom pistons in. Once I got the motor back I had to wait another few weeks for to get some tranny parts. While this motor/tranny work was being done we were addressing the engine bay but did not want to paint or prime until the headers were built so no oil would get on the primer and cause paint issues.
The motor and tranny were dropped in last week and the headers were built. This week we pulled the motor out and started the painting. There is a chance it will be done by this weekend but my focus will be on helping out Dave and Randy Bond and The Hammer is he want to race this weekend.

I've never had a custom piston take that long. Unless the Camel who was delivering it died.

Thats because you've never ordered a custom SBF piston that can handle 2500hp. And yes I don't make 2500hp but thats the type of piston I order. There is a reason you never see my car break.
